Lantern Options:

Lantern making sessions at the gallery are provided for free! Each lantern will have it’s makers name added and stored at the gallery until the day of the parade. Makers will come to the gallery, pick up their lantern with light and go to the Corydon Farmers Market to line up for the parade.
This year we will also offer lantern kits for $5 that can be purchased at the gallery and then made at home. When sold their names will be taken and poles and lights will be provided to them the day of the parade.
Lantern makers can also choose to DIY at home with their own creative design. They will need to provide all their own materials including light and pole.
Facilitators for lantern workshops are needed! We would like three per session. Sessions only 11⁄2 hour. Train the trainer session is scheduled for facilitators.
Artists are encouraged to create beautiful lanterns for window displays.

Saturday Lantern Workshops: 10-28, 11-4, 11, 18 from 2:00 – 3:30 – limited to 12.
Wednesday Lantern Workshops: 10-25, 11-1, 8, 15 from 4:30 – 6:00 – limited to 12.
November 25, 2023 4:00 – 5:00 PM makers pick up their lanterns at the gallery. (Set up of lanterns with poles and lights TBD)
