Originally from Louisville, I moved to Georgetown Indiana about 30 years ago, where I built my studio to continue my work. I work chiefly, but not exclusively, in pastel. I’m mostly self-taught, but with some college classes, and studies with various well-known artists throughout the country. My style, if there is one, is mostly impressionistic – realism. My philosophy in painting is to always remain a student of art, keeping my eyes open to new ideas and resolve to avoid the mediocre.
